Hello!

 

Yesterday, I had my first Japanese class. Interesting, to say the least. I already knew most of what we went through since I'd read a book to start learning the language, but either way we pretty much just introduced ourselves and talked about the sentence structure.

 

The picture above is one of the ten pages on which I practice my hiragana kanas. There's forty-six basic kanas to memorize. Then, you have about another fifty that are variations of those to form new syllables!

 

I'll most likely be documenting my battle with this complicated language, so if you want to know more, visit again in a week or so!
